We grind, patch, and seal the slab the same way we do every job, then finish it in flake or metallic epoxy so the room reads as finished space, not unfinished basement.

Grind
Diamond grinders open the concrete pores so the epoxy bonds chemically, not just mechanically.
Details
Hand grinders and edgers cut into every corner, wall line, and control joint the big planetary machine can't reach. The edges are where the craftsmanship shows.
Tape
Every baseboard, wall, and transition is masked so the coating stops in a crisp, deliberate line — no overspray, no slop.
Pour
Epoxy base coat goes down, then the flake or metallic system is applied to ensure everything cures together.
Seal
A topcoat of clear polyaspartic seals the floor hard — UV-stable, chemical-resistant, traffic-ready.

The tape comes off, the door goes up, and you park on a floor built to be shown off. All warranty and aftercare information is given at the completion of the job.

Can you coat a basement floor that's below grade?
In most cases, yes — the slab needs to be sound and free of active water intrusion. We'll check the concrete's condition and any moisture signs on-site before we quote the job.
Do I need to move everything out of the room first?
Yes — the floor needs to be fully cleared so we can grind and prep the entire slab. We'll walk you through what to move and when as part of the quote.
How long does a basement take from start to finish?
It depends on the size of the room and which finish you choose. We'll walk you through timing on your quote once we've seen the space.
Can I still use the basement stairs during the job?
We'll talk through access and any temporary inconvenience when we scope the job — every basement's layout is different.
