Metallic epoxy uses metallic pigment suspended in a self-leveling epoxy base. As the product moves and levels, it creates depth and marbling that you can't replicate with paint, stain, or standard chip systems. Every pour is unique. Under a UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat, it carries the same durability as any commercial-grade floor coating — and it's easier to clean than unsealed concrete.

Grind
Diamond grinders open the concrete pores so the epoxy bonds chemically, not just mechanically.
Details
Hand grinders and edgers cut into every corner, wall line, and control joint the big planetary machine can't reach. The edges are where the craftsmanship shows.
Tape
Every baseboard, wall, and transition is masked so the coating stops in a crisp, deliberate line — no overspray, no slop.
Pour
Epoxy base coat goes down, then the flake or metallic system is applied to ensure everything cures together.
Seal
A topcoat of clear polyaspartic seals the floor hard — UV-stable, chemical-resistant, traffic-ready.

Is every metallic floor actually unique?
Yes. Metallic pigment moves during the pour and self-levels — the installer can guide the effect, but can't perfectly replicate a previous job. We can work from a reference photo for color range and general character, but the exact swirl and marbling will be unique to your floor.
What sheen and color options are available?
Metallic epoxy comes in a wide range of pigment colors — copper, bronze, silver, pearl, charcoal, and custom blends. Sheen is determined by the topcoat: satin, semi-gloss, or high-gloss polyaspartic. We'll walk you through samples before committing to a color direction.
Where does metallic epoxy make the most sense?
Anywhere the floor is a design element, not just a surface. Residential basements, home gyms, entertainment rooms, and laundry rooms are common fits. On the commercial side, metallic shines in showrooms, salons, boutique retail, hotel lobbies, and restaurant dining rooms — spaces where the floor contributes to the brand. It's not the right call for warehouse floors, outdoor slabs, or very heavy forklift traffic, where durability matters more than finish.
What drives the cost?
Square footage, slab condition, and color complexity are the main factors. A floor that needs significant crack repair and patching costs more than a clean, level slab. Multi-color or highly directional designs take more installer time than a single-pigment pour. We'll give you a straight number after we see the slab.
